REVIEW
This was very well written. Sebastian’s emotions are displayed nicely, which I liked. I did find the photobooth thing to be out of character, but it wasn’t too large a part of the story, so it didn’t matter too much. A nice, short read when you’re in the mood for some post-Reichenbach angst.

Yet another installation of this lovely series. This is the last in the trilogy, and I think it may be my favourite of the three pieces. The writing is more beautiful than ever, and the entire situation with Sherlock is so entertaining. I loved how Sebastian compared himself to John. Everything about this fic just makes me want to fangirl for the rest of eternity.

I liked this. It was very short, very angsty. I think the idea that even Jim, this cocky psychopath who seems to never be flustered by anything has these breakdowns. Shows that he has soft sots, he’s still human and is just as vulnerable as any of us. Though, I do think it’s quite out of character for Moriarty to apologize, which he does at some point in this fic. Still a nice read if you’re looking for some good angst.

If you haven’t already read everything London can do to you, I strongly suggest you do so now. This is my favourite series, beautiful writing, perfect characterization, everything is just so lovely. I enjoyed this sequel just as much as I enjoyed the first one. The way it’s written really emphasizes how bloody twisted Moriarty is, which is something I really like in fanfic. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this series is, and how everyone should just read it.

The first thing I noticed with this fic is how beautiful the writing is. The metahors, similes, descriptions, everything was just put so perfectly. The subject matter in the fic is pretty adult, but it was written so tastefully. I would read a line, and it would be so deep and well thought out, it would hit me like a ton of bricks. The flow is amazing - I could really go on forever. I’m a huge literature nerd, and this is possibly the most well written fanfic I’ve ever read. I really try when writing reviews to not say anything about Seb being in or out of character, considering we don’t really know what he’s actually like yet, and everyone has their own interpretation of him, but really, this Sebastian was my favourite so far. I definitely see Seb being something like this. Jim was very well written, too. When I first started this blog, I knew I would never give out a rating of 5 on any fic, considering that with writing, there is always room for improvement, but I was very tempted to give a 5 to this one (I settled with a 4.9) because this is as close to perfect as I’ve ever read in a fic so far. I strongly suggest that everyone read it, as long as you don’t mind the subject matter.

Need I remind you that this is all meant for fun. Sherlock is entertainment, and we’re entertaining ourselves. Just because we read some online stories about Sebastian and Jim in a relationship, it doesn’t mean we think it would ever actually happen in canon. I am fully aware of the fact that Jim/Seb will never happen in a million years, and I think it would be very stupid if it actually did ever happen. I just like the idea of it happening, it strikes my fancy.
I feel like people in fandoms take this stuff much too seriously. So what if a few people like writing some stories about this couple that will obviously never happen, it’s all for fun. No need to get your panties in a bunch.

So, basically, Sebastian is pining after Jim a lot, and Jim doesn’t notice. It goes from “aw, this is such a cute fic, Seb likes him so much, I bet they’ll end up together and be cute little serial killer boyfriends for the rest of eternity” to “ohmygod my heart is being ripped out of my chest why would you do that” very quickly. Very short and sweet, with a touch of angst at the end. A nice, quick read.

I’ve got a big list of fics you guys have submitted for me to read, so I’ll be turning submit off until I get through all of those. It’ll make it easier for me, which will mean I’ll most likely have more time to udate.
Also, I’ll be turning anonymous off. I’ve been getting a some… not so nice anon messages lately, as you may have noticed, and it just makes this blog all the more stressful to run. I know that some people have nice things to say using anonymous, as I’ve recieved just as many nice anon messages as I have bad, so this will only be temporary.
I was absent for a bit unespectedly, which I aologize for, and I’m just trying to get things back on track. The lovely jawnandsharklock has also offered to help me out, so you may be seeing more of her in the future as well.
